Lime Vitality (Citrus aurantifolia)
Cold-pressed lime oil (Citrus aurantifolia) labeled for dietary use — a tart, sharp citrus flavor for drinks, marinades, and desserts.
How to use it
1 drop in sparkling water or a mocktail for a tart citrus lift, per label.
1 drop in marinades, guacamole, or desserts in place of fresh zest, per label.
Key constituents
Constituent proportions vary by species, harvest, and batch — typical ranges, not a guaranteed analysis.
Cold-pressed from the peel, it keeps the tart brightness of fresh lime zest.

Lime Vitality is the dietary-labeled version of Young Living’s Lime oil (Citrus aurantifolia), cold-pressed from the peel of limes and bottled for flavoring food and drinks rather than diffusing or topical use.
Cold-pressed, not distilled
Like other citrus oils, lime is extracted mechanically from tiny oil glands just beneath the peel’s surface rather than through steam distillation — a process that preserves the tart, sharp aroma of fresh lime zest far better than heat-based extraction would.
In the kitchen
A drop or two brightens sparkling water, marinades, guacamole, or desserts — a fast substitute when a recipe calls for fresh lime zest and you don’t have a lime on hand, or when you want the flavor without the extra acidity of juice.
Internal use
Follow label directions; a single drop is usually enough for a serving, since the oil carries far more concentrated flavor than fresh zest.
What pairs well
Lime’s tart brightness is a natural partner for cilantro, chili, coconut, and other flavors common in Latin American and Southeast Asian cooking, as well as in mocktails and cocktails.
Twin oil
Unlike the Vitality version, the standard non-Vitality Lime bottle is cold-pressed for diffusing and topical use, and can be phototoxic on skin exposed to sunlight — avoid sun exposure for 12 or more hours after any topical use of that bottle. See our Lime single-oil profile for more on that side of its use.
