In this blend
A pre-diluted comfort roll-on for the ordinary bumps of childhood.
KidScents Owie Roll-On is the pre-diluted, grab-and-go version of Young Living’s children’s comfort blend for minor bumps, scrapes, and the general chaos of active kids. It ships ready-to-use in a fractionated coconut oil base inside a rollerball bottle, so there’s no measuring or mixing before it goes in a diaper bag, backpack, or glovebox.
What’s in the blend
Owie is built around a small group of oils long associated with skin-comfort routines — including copaiba and helichrysum, along with lighter supporting notes like cedarwood and lavender. The result is a mild, slightly warm, herbaceous aroma rather than a sharp or medicinal one, which makes it easier to introduce to a child who’s already upset.
The ritual, more than the oil
For most families, Owie’s real value is in the routine around it as much as the oil itself: a scraped knee gets cleaned and bandaged first, then a small roll of Owie nearby becomes the calming, comforting last step — something a child can start to associate with “it’s going to be okay” rather than with the sting of antiseptic.
How to use it
Roll a small amount onto the skin around — not directly onto — a scrape, cut, or bruise, or apply it to unaffected skin nearby such as the back of the hand or wrist. Because it’s pre-diluted, no additional carrier oil is needed.
What it’s not
This is a comfort and aroma product for the ordinary bumps and scrapes of childhood — it is not a wound-care product, a first-aid antiseptic, or a substitute for a bandage, wound cleaning, or a pediatrician’s attention for anything beyond superficial skin.
A note on kids and oils
Avoid applying near the eyes, mouth, or broken/irritated skin without first checking with a pediatrician, and discontinue use if any redness or reaction appears. As with any topical product used on children, start with a very small area and watch for a reaction before wider use. See our allergy and safety guide for more on patch-testing.
