Thieves Roll-On
The pre-diluted roll-on version of Young Living's clove-and-cinnamon Thieves blend, formulated for direct topical use.
How to use it
Onto the bottoms of the feet or along the spine — already diluted.
It still contains hot oils, so test on a small area before regular use.
In this blend
A pre-diluted roll-on of clove, lemon, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus, and rosemary.
Thieves Roll-On takes the same clove, lemon, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus radiata, and rosemary combination found in the original Thieves blend and pre-dilutes it in a carrier oil, so it’s ready for direct skin application without any measuring or mixing.
What’s in it
The formula follows the classic Thieves ratio: clove brings the warm, spicy signature note; lemon adds citrus brightness; cinnamon bark deepens the spice; eucalyptus radiata contributes a fresh, camphoraceous lift; and rosemary rounds it out with an herbaceous undertone. The story behind the name traces back to a folklore legend about spice traders who reportedly used aromatic oils for protection while robbing plague victims — Young Living built an entire product line (cleaners, hand soap, toothpaste) around the concept.
Format and convenience
Being pre-diluted is the main draw here. Rather than measuring drops and a carrier oil each time, the roll-on format lets you apply directly from the bottle, which makes it far more portable for a bag, car console, or desk drawer.
On skin
The bottoms of the feet or along the spine are the most common application points, especially during cold-and-flu season — the rollerball makes it easy to reapply through the day without any extra prep.
Safety note
Even pre-diluted, this blend contains cinnamon bark and clove, both hot oils that can still irritate sensitive skin. Patch-test before regular use, avoid the eyes and mucous membranes, and keep it away from young children’s hands and faces. See our allergy and safety guide for general precautions.
Sourcing note
Because Thieves is a proprietary ratio, the named product is the only way to reliably reproduce the intended blend and its pre-set dilution — mixing the five oils yourself is unlikely to match either the balance or the safety-tested dilution level.
