In this blend
A warm, spicy blend built around clove, oregano, and frankincense.
What’s In the Blend
Immupower is one of Young Living’s more potent proprietary blends, combining eight individual oils: Idaho Tansy, Frankincense, Hyssop, Mountain Savory, Cistus, Clove, Oregano, and Ravintsara. Several of these — clove, oregano, and Mountain Savory in particular — are classified as “hot” oils, meaning they contain high concentrations of phenolic compounds that can cause a noticeable warming or burning sensation on skin if applied undiluted.
Aroma Character
The combined effect is a warm, intense, distinctly spicy-medicinal aroma, closer to a kitchen-spice-cabinet scent (clove, oregano) layered over resinous and herbal notes (frankincense, cistus, hyssop) than to anything floral or sweet. It’s a blend most people notice immediately rather than one that fades into the background.
How It’s Typically Used
Immupower is marketed around seasonal wellness support and is almost always used topically rather than diffused undiluted — the spice-heavy aroma is strong enough that even small amounts in a diffuser can dominate a room. Many people apply it to the bottoms of the feet or along the spine as part of the same seasonal routine that includes Thieves, often layering the two rather than choosing one over the other.
Safety Note
On skin: dilute at least 50% in a carrier oil before any application — clove and oregano are both hot oils that can cause noticeable irritation at low dilutions, even in people who tolerate other blends well.
Patch-test on the forearm first, keep away from the eyes and mucous membranes, and avoid use on children without adjusting dilution significantly. Because of the hot-oil content, this is not a blend to experiment with casually — start conservative and increase only if well tolerated. See our allergy and safety guide.
